This Christmas, we're bringing you two plays instead of one.

An unruly bunch of bright, funny sixth-form boys in pursuit of sex, sport and a place at university. A maverick teacher at odds with the young and shrewd supply teacher. A headmaster obsessed with results; a history teacher who thinks he's a fool.

In 2004, Nicholas Hytner directed James Corden and Dominic Cooper in Alan Bennett's award-winning,  smash hit play about staff-room rivalry and the anarchy of adolescence. The play will provoke insistent questions about history and how you teach it; about education and its purpose.

This production contains some adult themes and may not be suitable for those aged under 13

Devised by Mr Jackson, the cast and two up-and-coming young playwrights, The History Girls, or White Out is a festive offering about the freak snowfall Britain experienced in 2010. This fast-moving ensemble comedy explores the relationship between a mother and daughter, pokes fun at 24hr news, politics and health and safety in an all-singing, all-dancing Christmas treat.
